"Can Directa Luxator Instruments be used as elevators?"
Dr J comments:
" No. Directa Luxator Instruments are a specially designed periodontal ligament knife with a delicate and fine tapering blade that compresses the alveolar and cuts the membrane tissue. They should not be used as an elevator, as this could damage the fine blade. We have recently added Luxator Forte Elevator to our Luxator family which is stronger and has a unique cornered tip design that grasps dentine or root cementum for more controlled and safer tooth elevation."
