The Directa Profile - Going in the Right Direction

Directa AB, Sweden is one of the fastest growing dental companies in the Nordic region and has revamped its profile to reflect this.
Our offices and production plant are in Upplands Väsby, conveniently near to Stockholm. We are a friendly, flexible, service-orientated company and an innovative manufacturer of high quality dental instruments and products - designed and tested by dentists themselves. Our FenderWedge® was recently voted one of the 3 most innovative products on the dental market by the Association Dentaire Francaise; and more of our products are also breaking new ground.

Last year the company celebrated 90 years as a thriving business: The business began in 1916 as Svenska Dental Instruments - SDI. In 1996 SDI acquired Directa and in 1998 IB Williams, Switzerland was acquired too. In 2005 the businesses were merged, becoming Directa AB, turning it into the fast growing and dynamic company we are today - with around 20 full-time employees and an annual turnover of over 5 million Euros.

Directa AB is part of Lifco AB - the leading dealer of dental products in Scandinavia, with an annual turnover of 90 million Euros. The whole group comprises of businesses owned by Carl Bennet AB.

With such a background Directa AB is a strong, respected, established and well-recognised name in the international dental industry with satisfied customers in 95 countries.

At the upcoming IDS 2007 Fair in Cologne – 20-24 March we will be launching a whole new range of innovative products on Stand 069, Aisle J in Hall 10.1 and look forward to welcoming you there.
