Inserting a Luxator into the periodontal ligament.
The Luxator is advanced into the gingival sulcus at a slight angle to the tooth, i.e. following the surface of the tooth, and pressed into the periodontal ligament space. It is worked around the whole circumference of the tooth, using gentle aapical pressure, cutting the periodental ligament fibres.




A worthy & time proven alternative to forceps extractions and is a specially designed, finely tapering blade that cuts the Periodontal membrane whilst gently easing the tooth from the socket.

Never lever with Luxator extraction instrument as it is likely that you will damage the thin cutting edge irreparably. Luxator extraction instrument is specially designed surgical cutting instrument, not levering instrument such as Elevators. Luxator is a registered trademark.
